Dosing system for controlled primer application

The primer is applied prior to the PUR surface gluing and is required for Douglas fir and larch wood as well as for all hardwoods. Since the primer application is easiest to carry out after the planer, Oest has developed a dosing system that takes over the current feed speed of the planed lamella and automatically adjusts the primer application - exactly in the right amount and to the gram. The application is carried out on both sides of the lamella, with the help of precisely working spray nozzles. Return flow caused by lateral overspray is collected and reused. For new production lines, it is highly recommended that the space available for the primer application be taken into account in the planning phase.
