ECOTAC comb system with automatic gluing height adjustment

Oest has developed for its proven extruder head ECOTAC, for the separate MUF finger joint application, an automatic gluing height adjustment.

The sliding bar, responsible for the glue application height, will be moved with a servo driven ball-screw and afterwards locked pneumatically. The requested gluing height will be transmitted to the extruder head. The automatic height adjustment works during the production in both directions, for larger and smaller dimensions. Also existing ECOTAC systems can be retrofitted with the automatic gluing height adjustment.
