EPI glue application system for CLT elements

Oest mechanical engineering is a specialist for glue application for CLT elements. Already more than 30 projects with different adhesive systems could be installed in recent years.

Currently the work is in progress for a new CLT project for 2C EPI adhesive. Besides exact dosing, good mixing and accurate application of adhesive, the challenge for 2C mixed glue is to make the application head practicable flushable. This is achieved by dividing the 1.500 mm wide application head type FACETAC in five flushable individual segments á 300 mm and a special automatic wash cycle with warm water and compressed air.

In Q1 2016 the dosing unit KONTIMIX will be installed at the customers side and taken into operation.
