In the event of a prolonged, widespread power outage, Freudenstadt will receive a contractually secured preferential right to fuel municipal vehicles so that the fire department, building yard, municipal utilities and emergency services remain mobile even in the event of a disaster. Refueling at the Oest AVIA Xpress filling station is then carried out via an emergency power generator. The agreement and the free support provided by Oest Energies will ensure the functionality of central areas of the municipal infrastructure in the event of an emergency and thus the reliable supply of the population in the event of a blackout.
