Take over of partial business division from IFA Technology GmbH

Oest Mechanical-Engineering has taken over the partial business of glue application systems for surface and finger-joint applications from IFA Technology GmbH / Germany. The take-over further concentrates the know-how on the subject of adhesive technology in Freudenstadt.

The acquisition primarily applies to the subject of the application of condensation adhesives for load-bearing timber (e.g. MUF for glulam). The agreement is valid from May 1st, 2014 and is beneficial for both parties. IFA focuses in the field of adhesive preparation on gravimetric mixing and dosing equipment, as well as storage tanks. Oest in contrast, is growing its customer base. It was a mutually beneficial and friendly take over. The companies are still cooperating.
