The Rotary Club Freudenstadt has visited our Sixties-style filling station at Kniebis and has collected donations for the charity project End Polio Now.

Since the foundation of the first Rotary club more than 100 years ago at Chicago, Rotary has developed to a worldwide network with meanwhile more than 1,2 million members which follow a common vision. They want to assist and support those who can not help themselves – in the local environment of the own region and within the scope of international humanitarian charity projects. The most popular project of Rotary is “End Polio Now”, the worldwide fight against polio.

Also the Rotary Club Freudenstadt is involved with this important project and collects donations. Such as also at the occasion of a meeting at our recently opened Sixties-style filling station at Kniebis to which Alexander A. Klein has invited his Rotary friends. A successful evening – not only regarding the big interest in our historic AVIA filling station but mainly thanks to the numerous donations for this good cause.
